I Became Friends with the Second Cutest Girl in My Class

Kurasu de Ni-ban Me ni Kawaii Onna no Ko to Tomodachi ni Natta

I, Maki Maehara, was the loner of my class until I made my first friend, Umi Asanagi. Asanagi is always the center of attention, and the boys consider her “the second cutest girl in class.” I thought I was just some guy living in the shadows, in a completely different world from hers. But it turns out she’s also a fan of B-movies! Now, Asanagi-san secretly comes over to my house every Friday after school. We have a great time together, since we share the same interests in movies, video games, and manga. “Sit next to me, and we can read manga together.” “That’s my bed…” “It’s my bed for now. Come on, get over here.” Isn’t this a little too close, Asanagi-san? (Source: ComicWalker, translated)
