Hassanain Alhilou

In the Quranic sky of the Islamic world, Sayyid Hassanin Al-Hilo is a shining star whose life story paints an inspiring portrait of faith, perseverance, and love for the Quran. Born on October 12, 1984, in Basra, Iraq, his life has been intertwined with challenges and divine miracles since childhood. Hassanin’s childhood began with a forced migration to Iran at the age of six; four years of separation from his family and living in Qom marked the beginning of a path that would turn him into one of the prominent figures in the world of Quran recitation. Growing up in a family that has offered more than one hundred martyrs for Islam—and with a father who was a renowned fighter against the Ba'ath regime—the spirit of resistance and faith took deep root within him.
