Maya Haston

Maya Haston is an award-winning director, screenwriter, and producer dedicated to telling stories that deserve to be told—films that center underrepresented voices, explore emotional depth, and confront societal truths through bold, genre-driven storytelling. With over eight years of experience and leadership at M.E.T. Productions and Carmichael Studios, Maya has been recognized for her work with the Best Student Film award at the Direct Monthly Online Film Festival (Carassius Auratus), an Official Selection at the London Global Film Awards, and multiple accolades from the 48-Hour Horror Film Project, including Audience Choice, Best Sound Design, and Honorable Mention – Best Scare. Her work blends psychological nuance with visual intensity, inviting audiences to witness the unseen and feel the unspoken.
