Philippe Vaucher

Philippe Vaucher is a Canadian animator, filmmaker, and professor based in Montreal, Quebec. His experimental work combines traditional artistic techniques with digital technologies, exploring movement, perception, and visual storytelling. Among his notable films are The Song-Catcher (2001) and The Well (2013), an animated short created using coloured salt. He has also worked in commercial animation and feature films, while teaching animation and filmmaking at university level.
