Finding a story worth your time.
A plotless but engaging account of life in a Vietnamese village. We see the slaughter of a dog for food, the preparation of a vegetarian meal, and a girl who sells desert, offers her views on life. A film that embodies the horror, hope and cruelty that is part and parcel of everyday life.
