Laos - The Magic of Slowness

Laos - Zauber der Langsamkeit

Laos is renowned for its varied landscapes and the many animals that call the vast monsoon forests home. Yet even here, deforestation and poaching are widespread. Animal welfare campaigners across the country are working to strike a balance between development and nature conservation. This two-part documentary portrays Laos in all its beauty and contradictions: A country living in harmony with nature, whilst facing the challenges of the 21st century.
