A chance meeting turns their destinies upside down: unexpectedly, each of the sisters fits the other's life. Sonya loses her memory as a result of an accident, and Alisa, having fallen in love with her sister's husband, begins to consciously play someone else's role. Sonya was never able to love another husband, but she sincerely became attached to her sister's son, considering him her own. More and more of the twins' lives are getting confused.
