Luisa Clasen, widely known online as Lully de Verdade, is a Brazilian filmmaker, podcaster, and digital influencer, recognized as one of the pioneers in creating YouTube content dedicated to film criticism and analysis in Brazil. Born in Rio de Janeiro, she moved to Curitiba during childhood, where she grew up and laid her foundations. Passionate about media from an early age, she earned a degree in Film and Video from the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR). To refine her technical skills and broaden her industry knowledge, she pursued further practical training and directing courses at the International Academy of Cinema and Television (AICTV) and the New York Film Academy in the United States. Before establishing her online presence, she worked behind the scenes in film sets for short films and television series, including work as an assistant director. In 2011, Luisa launched her YouTube channel, Lully de Verdade. Initially, her content covered everyday topics such as personal lifestyle, relationships, pop culture, and discussions on feminism. However, her background in film soon took center stage: noticing strong audience engagement with her movie reviews, she pivoted to focus entirely on cinema. Setting herself apart from superficial reviews based solely on personal opinion, she began breaking down technical aspects of filmmaking—such as screenwriting, editing, cinematography, and production design—making film terminology accessible to a broader audience. Her influence in the media industry led to partnerships with major entertainment brands like Netflix, HBO, Sony Pictures, TNT, and Coca-Cola, as well as coverage of major international award shows and projects with Canal Brasil. In 2020, Luisa expanded her content portfolio by creating the podcast Laboratório de Cinema, a thematic, season-based project designed to introduce listeners to core concepts of film production.
