The Return Of An Afrikan Rebel

SoundCloud presents “The Return Of An Afrikan Rebel,” an original documentary produced in collaboration with Pa Salieu as part of the “First on SoundCloud” program. Championed by fans on SoundCloud and hand-selected by SoundCloud’s music team, the First on SoundCloud program is designed to break the next generation of superstars through artist partnership and marketing opportunities. After 17 years in Coventry, UK rapper Pa Salieu traveled with SoundCloud back to his home country of The Gambia. Watch as he reconnects with his roots—what he calls “the most important period of his life”—and explores the ongoing influence that The Gambia has had on his music.
